Mike Fancher Elected to IACP Board of Directors
Our firm’s founder Mike Fancher was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP). This election reflects Mike’s long term and continuing commitment to Collaborative Law. Mike is a former Board member and President of King County Collaborative Law (KCCL), our local professional organization, and Collaborative Professionals of Washington (CPW), our statewide organization.
Mike is very excited about the opportunity to work for the growth of Collaborative Law at the international level. He is a strong believer in helping clients resolve their divorce issues in a more peaceful way, even when they are having a great deal of trouble getting to agreement. The Collaborative process allows both parties to be heard, and to work through identifying goals, listening, evaluating options, and creating resolutions that both parties can support.
Mike’s practice is focused primarily on Collaborative Law work. After many years as a divorce litigator, he stopped accepting new litigation cases in 2007. For clients that do need litigation services, Mike refers them to the other attorneys in our firm.
