Mark Alexander Gains Lifetime Achievement Award
We were thrilled when Mark Alexander of our office was recently awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Washington State Bar Association’s Family Law Section. This was only the third time that such an award has been given since 1986.
Mark served on the Family Law Executive Committee for six years, and as Secretary for part of that time. More than that he served an important role reviewing historical records for the committee, and was a strong voice representing the interests of the Family Law Section as well as the Executive Committee in dealings with the Washington State Bar Association and the Washington Supreme Court.
In addition to his work on the WSBA FLEC, Mark has a long history of service to Family Law in general. Besides having worked as an attorney in Family Law for more decades that it is polite to mention, Mark has:
- Chaired the King County Bar Association’s Family Law Section
- Volunteered with the Family Law Mentor Program (which he also managed for a time)
- Volunteered with the Family Law Legal Clinic
- Volunteered with the Family Law Settlement Program
We have been very fortunate to have Mark in our office. As our senior attorney, he is a fountain of knowledge and experience. As a friend and office mate, he is a valued member of the Seattle Divorce Services family.
If you would like to schedule an initial consultation with Mark, just give us a call at 206-784-3049 and Alyssa at the front desk can help you find a time that works.
